Why I ought to…

I don’t know what to think about agent, representative, friend, mouth-piece of Carlos Tevez, Kia Joorabchian.  This guy has been shady from the second Tevez and Mascherano entered the EPL (at West Ham), and proved that he was with the ensuing law suit and side show over the past  summer (more on his background and shadiness here).

And now he has gone to the papers.  According to a report in the Daily Mirror (seems like a tabloid), Joorabachian is interested in the move of Tevez to Manchester City, not only because of the big money pit that it is, but also to spite Manchester United and specifically Ferguson.  This is the man that is the whisper in Tevez’s ear.

With a price tag of more than £25M pounds on his head, Manchester City would be the first in line to sign Tevez, and with a bounty like that, it leaves Liverpool, AC Milan, and Tottenham left to wait in line for a more economical price (probably closer to what Manchester United value Tevez at).  Since Joorabachian would be the recipent of any fee associated with Tevez’s next move, not Manchester United, he is looking for the cash cow.  United had the option of acquiring Tevez during his two year loan at Old Trafford, but a deal never materialized with the fee for Tevez being set at £33M pounds by Joorabachian.  With Tevez being a favorite of the fans, coaches, and players, I can only guess that Joorabachian is the thorn in the Stretford End.
